Re-opening of Dojo's - *PROVISIONAL* timetable and dates

We are FINALLY writing to you with some good news after 4 LONG months on ZOOM :-(Socially distanced, non-contact Indoor Karate lessons are allowed to resume from Monday 12th April for students aged 17 and under.This falls right in the middle of Easter holidays for some areas so we have decided to re-open our dojos to the under 17's from Monday 19th April.Adults are allowed to resume from Monday 17th May. We will maintain a ZOOM timetable for the adults and those still shielding. Debbie and Dave Sensei's Dojo classes will resume from 17th May when all students can return together. Monday night Senior Class will also return on Monday 17th May at a venue to be confirmed. Squad class is also TBC.*Please note this is all subject to delay if the relaxation of lockdown is withdrawn by the Government. We are still waiting to hear back from some of our venues so fingers crossed more may be added by the end of the month.The following classes will be back up and running and available to book for the under 17's from Wednesday 31st March:

  • Bolton class at a new venue TBC with Lily and Lee Sensei
  • Stretford Class at St Matthews Church Hall with Rob Sensei
  • Little Lever class at Mytham Primary School with Nicole Sensei

Tuesday 20th April:

  • Reddish class at Abingdon Primary School with Rob and Rachael Sensei
  • Stoneclough class with Callum Sensei
  • Stockton Heath Class at St Thomas Primary School with Jon C Sensei
  • Chantlers and Radcliffe classes to temporarily combine at Chantlers Primary School with John O' D and John D Sensei's.
  • Handforth Class at a venue TBC
  • Tuesday night ZOOM class with Debbie and Dave Sensei

 ALL students are welcome at any class whether you have been training on ZOOM or not. If you have taken a break you will be welcomed back with open arms. We would be delighted to see you.The EKF have confirmed we will be able to train barefoot which is great. Unfortunately, spectators are still not permitted to attend.Discussion is ongoing about when we will be allowed to reduce the social distancing/use shared equipment and spar. It is all heading in the right direction though and we cannot wait to welcome you all back through the doors and see all your lovely faces again.


We aren't finished on ZOOM Yet!

Fun Kata Competitions will be run at every class on the last week of March. This will replace the usual Student of the Month competition. Over wonderful 30 medals are up for grabs!Work hard in class and make sure one will be making it's way to your house!


Joe Kellaway Kumite Course 3 on Sunday 28th March

Joe Sensei is teaching his 3rd kumite course on Sunday 28th march 11am-12pm to those interested in enhancing their kumite skills with England's number 1 kumite fighter.£10 a household - book now via the APP.


OPEN Cadet Leader and Assistant Instructor class to be held on Sunday 11th April.

Open to the first 100 people who register.We are inviting you all to a free class if you are interested in continuing your role as Cadet Leader or Assistant Instructor in our classes.We are also looking for new additions to our fantastic teams. If you are interested in becoming a Cadet or an Assistant please book onto the class and we will try and place you at one of our dojos so you can begin sharing your knowledge with others.

  • 10am-11am Cadet Leaders Class
  • 11am-12pm Assistant Instructor Class

I’ve swapped it round as the kids will find it easier to get out of bed!The day after the class we will post your name along with your dojo on the Cadet and Assistants page.You will still need to book this class via the APP to be sent the link even though it is free of charge.
