NEXT TRAINING WEEKEND - 5th, 6th & 7th June 2026 - SOLD OUT!
Our Ultimate Training Weekend is one of the most enjoyable events of the year. We train for 6 hours across 2 days with some great Instructors. It is the ultimate test of endurance and our students always leave feeling inspired, exhilarated and exhausted all at the same time!
This event is open to both children and adults but you must be graded to at least 9th Kyu Orange Belt to take part in the training.
Training places are allocated on a first come first served basis. Book your place quickly because the last event sold out in just a few days.
If you complete the training over the whole weekend then you will receive a medal as a reward.
Training takes place on both Saturday and Sunday. We played some team games last time and Team Stockton Heath came out well on top! We plan to do some more team games in 2026 to break up the karate for the kids.
There is plenty of free time in the afternoon for students to spend with their family and karate friends. The park has undergone a massive refurbishment.
Haven completed a £3million refurbishment to their heated indoor pool in 2017 and this proved a massive hit with all of the families who attended the UTW last time. This fabulous facility now features three flume slides, a multi-lane slide, bubble pool, Lazy River and wave pool. There are also have play areas for children and a lane pool for those wanting to just swim.
In your free time you could enjoy a trip out on the boating lake, climb between the trees at the outdoor high ropes course or roller blade in Sportsdrome.
You can hire bikes and pedalos, there’s just so much to keep the whole family entertained.
There is also an amusement arcade, bars, restaurants and daytime & evening entertainment. The beach is right on your doorstep too, hopefully a visit in June will guarantee us some better weather this time around!

Training Venue: Byw’n lach Dwyfor, Recreation Road, Pwllheli, Gwynedd, North Wales, LL53 5PF (Approximately 10 minutes drive from Haven)
The rest of the time is your own free time to spend however you want. There is a Medal for each student who takes completes the training and some trophies to be awarded by the teaching Instructors.

To be paid for on Saturday 6th June 2026 via cash or card payment. We have 80 Training Places. Be quick to book because this event usually sells out.
Accommodation is on a Self-Catering basis. Includes bed linen, entertainment passes for all guests. Gas, electric and hot water.

To make this event more affordable, it is possible for groups of students to share. If you are travelling on your own and are interested in sharing, please let us know and we will try and find you somebody to share with. Likewise, if there are only 2 people, we may be able to find somebody who is happy to share and half the costs. If we have any teenage groups wishing to book together as we have had in the past, at least 1 person in the accommodation needs to be age 21 or over. Other Pet Friendly friendly accommodations will be available and costs £60 more.
Pricing is based on a 3-night stay in self-catering haven holiday accommodation. Prices include bed linen and play passes but do not include any additional facilities or equipment required such as cot beds. These prices are based on a Haven Holiday which includes Play Passes for swimming, activities, and entertainment.
Haven have asked for a £90 deposit to be paid by Sunday 30th November to secure your accommodation at the price above with the remaining balance to be paid by Thursday 12th March 2026. If you prefer to pay in full, this is fine too. Cancellations and refund policies and procedures are as per the Haven website and can be found @ https://www.haven.com/support/terms-and-conditions. Haven are very strict with their refund procedure and once the Club has paid your accommodation fees to them, you will need to go through Haven to claim any refund due should you drop out.
