🏕️ Ultimate Training Weekend 2026

This weekend | Haf ny mor Haven, North Wales

We’re kicking off June with one of our most anticipated events of the year — and it’s officially SOLD OUT!

Ultimate Training Weekend 2026 promises:

• A fantastic line-up of expert instructors

• High-energy training sessions

• Fun games and team challenges

• Great memories with the RTK family

Everyone who completes the 6-hour training will receive a certificate of participation, and there will be:

🏅 Medals for the team games
🏆 A big trophy for the winning team

We can’t wait to spend an unforgettable weekend together — see you there!

🥋 Summer Course & Dan Grading

Sunday 14th June | 1:00–3:00pm
📍 St Catherines Academy, Newby Road, Bolton. BL2 5JH

Our Summer Course and Dan Grading is just around the corner!

• ✅ Open to all students graded 9th Kyu and above

• ⏱️ 2-hour training course

• 💷 £12 per person or £10 each (same household discount)

This is a brilliant opportunity to:

• Train alongside students from across the club

• Support those going for Dan Grading

• Gain valuable experience towards your own future gradings

👉 Important: Don’t forget to bring your licence so we can stamp it and record your attendance!

We’d love to see as many of you there as possible showing your support.

💪 Squad Training and Cadet Leader & Assistant Class

• Saturday 27th June: South Manchester Squad Class

• Sunday 28th June: Cadet Leader & Assistant Instructor Class

These sessions are key for developing our next generation of Dojo leaders and competitors — keep up the great work!

🏆 Competition Success

Our squad recently competed in the Yanagi Kai Manchester Open — and did us proud!

🥇 The team brought home 3 medals, showcasing their skill, dedication, and fighting spirit.

We are incredibly proud of every competitor and the effort they put in. They represented our Club with honour and integrity. Well done!

We’re delighted to share some wonderful news from the RTK family!

David Smale Sensei and his wife Kate have welcomed a beautiful baby girl:
