March Newsletter
Here is your monthly newsletter for March, we have lots of events coming up to keep you busy. The APP is now fixed, we apologise once again for the disruption last week. You should now able to book classes for the month of March and beyond.
Upcoming events in March:
Thursday 12th, Friday 13th and Saturday 14th March - Shinji Nagaki Sensei World Champion visit - POSTPONED DUE TO FLIGHT CANCELLATION
We still have places for the following sessions:
Thursday 12th @ Ashton on Mersey School in Sale - 6:00pm-7:00pm for all grades (£15) and 8:00pm-9:00pm Advanced Session (£15)
Friday 13th @ Tottington Primary School in Bury - 7:30-8:30pm Kumite Masterclass for all grades (£15)
Saturday 14th March @ Kearsley Academy in Kearsley from 12:00pm-2:00pm for all grades (£20) and 2:00pm-4:00pm (£20)
Sunday 22nd March - Tournament Practise Session with the Squad Coaches from 11:00am-12:30pm only £7 per person, it is a great opportunity to get feedback and advice from our most experienced competition coaches. This class is open to all students and will replace Cadet Leader and Assistant Instructor Class this month. Turn up and pay on the day.
This is followed by our Club Kyu Grading from 1:00pm-3:00pm for students attempting all grades up to 1st Kyu. (Invited students only)
Saturday 28th March - RTK Club Championships from 10:00am-3:30pm at Kearsley Academy, Springfield Rd, Kearsley. BL4 8HY.
Compete with students from other RTK dojos for medals. Everyone gets a certificate for being brave enough to take part. There are three trophies up for grabs too; The Kath Head Award, The Fair Play Award and the Dojo Championships Award. You've got to be in it to win it.
Prices are exactly the same as last year so it is the most affordable comp you will ever enter. And you will have a great time with your pals from your dojo!

RTK Success at the Yanagi Kai Kata Competition!
Well done to the Squad members who attended the Yanagi Kai Kata Competition in Sale. We are proud of each and every one of you that entered. Thanks to Sam Jackson Sensei for coaching on the day.
An extra well done to Jacob B-R who won a bronze medal, Angel F who won a silver medal and Vivienne T-J who won a silver medal. Amazing work at such a high level comp!
Ramadan Mubarak
We would like to wish all of our Muslim members a blessed Ramadan. Where Iftar falls during the time of our training sessions, you are always able to pause to break your fast. Please let your Instructor know and they will be happy to accommodate this.
Well done to all the students who graded in February
Congratulations to all the students to took their first or next grades in our February Gradings.
We have been very impressed with the standard across all of our areas. If you managed to pass, keep up the great work. If you did not quite make it through this time, do not worry. Keep trying! The only person who will stop you achieving what you want to is you! Never give up!
Ultimate Training Weekend balances due on Thursday 12th March
Our next UTW is fast approaching and Haven have asked that all remaining balances are paid by Thursday 12th March at the very latest. We can then send out your booking references to you so you can get all of your activities booked in and make reservations.
If you are unable to remember your remaining balance, we will send reminders out this week.
Guest Instructors will also be confirmed over the next couple of weeks to keep an eye on this space. It's not too late to join the fun. We are unable to reserve accommodation for you, but if you'd still like to come, you can reserve training places and organise your own accommodation. Message info@redtigerkarateclub.co.uk if you are interested.

Erin C won our Karate Kid tickets Competition - WELL DONE!
Congratulations to Erin C from the Walkden Dojo who was the lucky winner of our last competition. She has won 2 tickets to watch The Karate Kid Musical at the Palace Theatre Manchester. Congratulations and enjoy!
