It is compulsory for all competitors taking part in the kumite are wearing mitts/gloves and shin and instep protection and have fitted gum shields. Groin Guards are compulsory for males and chest protectors are recommended for females.

Team events will take place late afternoon and are always a highlight as you can watch some outstanding displays of synchronised Kata from some of our very best students.

We have caterers attending the event providing food and drinks at reasonable prices as well as professional photography company RG Photography who will be capturing all the very action and medal-winning moments. You can purchase mounted photographs and other items at good prices and take them home with you on the day.

Friends and family are more than welcome, you can bring as many supporters as you like. The Dome is very large and there is no charge for spectators.

Thank you to all the students who have returned their entry forms so far, this is shaping up to be another brilliant event!!!!!

Don’t forget we have a couple of other competitions happening on the day including our first ever Kicking Championships and Best Kata. You can enter those on the day.
