Another weekend, another International competition for our very own superstar – Grace Baron.
Grace was one of only 16 selected to attend the British Karate Federations International Open – a notoriously difficult competition for Shotokan practitioners to medal in. The standard really is exceptional with only a small number of entries allowed from each country.
Grace was entered into the girls 12-13 years kata and the girls kumite.
She had a fantastic day once again and continued her fine run of form by placing 3rd in the kata event.
Well done Grace we are so proud of you as always, flying the flag for JKS England and Red Tiger. Well done missus.
From one busy day to another, she then went on to place 2nd in the individual kumite and 1st in team kumite alongside Sam Jackson and Lori-Ann Moran the very next day.
Here she is celebrating with little sister Izzy who also enjoyed a very successful weekend grabbing 2 golds and a silver at our Club Kumite Championships.
