Re-opening of Dojo’s – *PROVISIONAL* timetable and dates

We are FINALLY writing to you with some good news after 4 LONG months on ZOOM 🙁

Socially distanced, non-contact Indoor Karate lessons are allowed to resume from Monday 12th April for students aged 17 and under.

This falls right in the middle of Easter holidays for some areas so we have decided to re-open our dojos to the under 17’s from Monday 19th April.

Adults are allowed to resume from Monday 17th May. We will maintain a ZOOM timetable for the adults and those still shielding. Debbie and Dave Sensei’s Dojo classes will resume from 17th May when all students can return together. Monday night Senior Class will also return on Monday 17th May at a venue to be confirmed. Squad class is also TBC.

*Please note this is all subject to delay if the relaxation of lockdown is withdrawn by the Government. We are still waiting to hear back from some of our venues so fingers crossed more may be added by the end of the month.

ALL students are welcome at any class whether you have been training on ZOOM or not. If you have taken a break you will be welcomed back with open arms. We would be delighted to see you.

The EKF have confirmed we will be able to train barefoot which is great. Unfortunately, spectators are still not permitted to attend.

Discussion is ongoing about when we will be allowed to reduce the social distancing/use shared equipment and spar. It is all heading in the right direction though and we cannot wait to welcome you all back through the doors and see all your lovely faces again.

We aren’t finished on ZOOM Yet!

Fun Kata Competitions will be run at every class on the last week of March. This will replace the usual Student of the Month competition. Over wonderful 30 medals are up for grabs!

Work hard in class and make sure one will be making it’s way to your house!
