We are delighted to report that Dean Ramsden Sensei has not only completed the Ironman challenge for a 2nd consecutive year, he absolutely smashed last years time by an hour and a half! He is an inspiration to us all and we just don’t know how you do it!
The Ironman Challenge is widely considered to be the most difficult one day sporting event in the World. Dean Sensei completed a 2.4 mile open water swim, a 112 mile bike ride and a 26.2 mile run in the amazing time of 14 hours and 31 minutes!
Please join us in congratulating Dean Sensei on this extraordinary achievement. It has clearly been an awesome week for the Ramsden family as Joseph successfully attempted his Black Belt last Saturday 11th July.
We hope that Gill and Megan will be able to enjoy a stress free Summer now after supporting both the Ramsden fellas in their incredible achievements! You are a wonderful family who fully deserve every success.
Dean Sensei has also managed to raise over £800 for ‘Scope’ which is a charity that exists to give disabled people the same opportunities as everyone else. It is not too late to donate and you can visit Dean Sensei’s fundraising page by clicking on the link below:
