Combined Senior Class in pink belts to support World Cancer Day

Our monthly combined senior class met last Monday 5th February and trained in pink belts purchased from Blitz Sport to support World Cancer Day on Sunday 4th February. This was a brilliant suggestion made by Jade Rigby Sensei and everyone seemed happy and willing to show their support.

Over 50 Instructors, Assistants and Trainees proudly wore their pink belts and the profits from our purchases has been donated to Cancer Research UK. Pink Belts are still available for anyone who would like to order one from www.blitzsport.com or through your class Instructor at the cost of £1.50 although there is only size 250cm and 230cm left after Red Tiger have raided their adult stockpile!

Anyone who left behind their belt on Monday can have it back at the next combined class.

Cancer Research is a charity close to many of our hearts, as we will all know and love people who have been or are still battling this horrible disease. Unknowingly, many of you train alongside brave and inspirational cancer survivors so we are more than happy to do our bit to help fund research.
