Class news and Cadet Leader & Assistant Instructor class

Radcliffe class will open this evening at Radcliffe Riverside Sports Centre, Spring Lane, Radcliffe from 7pm-8pm.

 

Denton class will be open at New Chapel Unitarian Church, Clare Street, Denton. M34 3LQ from 6pm-7pm for lower grades 4th Kyu and below and 7.15pm-8.15pm for higher grades 3rd Kyu and above. Please contact Sensei Rachael on 078254 66 825 if the time/grade split is going to cause you a problem and we’ll sort something out.

 

Standish class will be open this Thursday 6pm-7pm instead of the usual Saturday class.

 

Grace Baron and Hannah Cain compete in Glasgow

Grace Baron (kata) and Hannah Cain (kumite) have been selected to represent JKS England this Saturday at the BKF International Open which is the girls first ever WKF event. World Karate Federation (WKF) is the very highest level of competition for karate and is the only place that all the very best international competitors take part. Best of luck girls and we are so proud of you both for being selected.

 

The following classes will reopen this week or on Monday next week: 

Stockton Heath, Reddish, Blackburn, Bromley Cross, Thornleigh early class, Cheadle with a new Instructor Mike Beckwith Sensei, Castleton & Whitefield.

The following classes will move back to their usual venues: 

Chesham Wednesday & Friday, Holcombe Brook and Heywood classes.

 

Cadet Leader and Assistant Instructor Class and Club Grading this Sunday

Cadet Leader and Assistant Instructor Class will be held this Sunday 6th September from 11am-12.30pm at Matthew Moss High School, Matthew Moss Lane, Marland, Rochdale. OL11 3LU.

This will be followed by our North Manchester and Lancashire Club Grading from 1pm-3.30pm.

 

Senior Class will re-open next Monday 7th September 8pm-9.30pm at Tottington High School, Laurel Street, Tottington. BL8 3LY.

 

Shinji Nagaki Sensei Course

There are a just a handful of places left on both courses to train for the final time with Shinji Nagaki Sensei in Farnworth, Bolton on Saturday 12th September. Tickets are available now through your Class Instructor.

 

Ultimate Training Weekend

The next Ultimate Training Weekend due to take place on Friday 9th, Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th October is now sold out. All caravans have been booked and paid for and you have until Friday 25th September to pay your remaining balance into the RTK account. We are looking forward to this event and would like to thank everyone who has booked once again and those coming for the first time. This is by far our most popular event and sold out within 1 week. It should be fantastic!
