Great results for JKS England at the Karate Do Federation Competition

After a disappointing day back home where we’ve had to cancel Cadet Class and grading we have some great news for you all!

JKS England Squad members Molly Austin-Hogsden, Grace Baron, Abby Fielding, Georgie Dyal, Lori-Ann Moran, Louis Johnson, Sam Jackson, Matthew Affleck, Kevin Longthorne, Ellis Pindoria-Stott and Zak Thomas Blackhurst braved the mini Beast from the East and travelled down to Essex to take part in the Karate Do Federation Competition.

For some this was their first time representing JKS England at the first comp of the season and by all accounts, JKS England are off to a flying start.

All of our students gave their very best and have all come away with some valuable experience and lessons learned. Congratulations to you all and thanks to the parents for their unwavering support as always. Without you, our kids couldn’t achieve any of this. Thanks to Mike Baron Sensei for always supporting our team members, teaching them and putting them at ease and the JKS England Squad Coaches for their guidance and advice.

A grand total of 7 medals were earned by our team members and it looks like the JKS England Squad had an absolutely brilliant & successful day.

We are delighted to report the following medals have been won by Red Tigers:

Two medals for Grace Baron a Gold in Kata and a Bronze in Kumite

Two Silver medals for Ellis Pindoria-Stott in Kata and Kumite

A Gold medal for Molly Austin-Hogsden in Kumite

A Silver medal for Louis Johnson in Kata

A Silver medal for Lori-Ann Moran in Kumite

A Bronze medal for Kevin Longthorne in Kumite

Keep up the great work team 🙂 We are so proud of you all and cannot wait to see your medals at classes next week, well done.
