Over £700 raised at our Summer Party!!! Thank you all!!!

We would like to say a huge thank you to all of the students, Instructors and their families who attended our Summer party on Saturday 8th July.

We hope you all had a wonderful evening spent with your karate family and friends.

The event was a huge success with all tickets being sold in less than 7 days. Thank you all for your support.

A grand total of £704 was raised for the Squad and this money will be a great help towards funding our National and International athletes.

We want to thank everyone who donated prizes for the raffle. There was over 100 prizes to be won ranging from grooming products, VUE cinema vouchers, kids toys, a huge cuddly unicorn, bottles of wine and spirits, Karate merchandise, accommodation and transfers in Australia (big thanks to Norman for that one) and our number 1 prize kindly donated by the Jackson Family – a flying lesson in a Microlight by Mainair Microlight Centre at Barton Airfield.

This was won by Catherine Johnson Sensei and has been enjoyed by Louis Johnson this afternoon. What a great prize! There is an awesome video of both Mark and Louis way up in the air, keeping an eye on the Baron family over flying high over Aspull. I hope the girls were practising their Kata in the garden? haha!

We hope you all had a fantastic time, enjoyed the buffet, karaoke and just generally spending time together without your Gi’s on!

It was brilliant. It is so nice to see all of the kids and teenagers getting along and having a laugh. It was also a great chance for parents and family members to socialise with one another and get to know each other a little better. We have some belting singers at Red Tiger too so well done to those brave enough to do the karaoke!

Big thanks must go to Julie Moran who has done a lot of organising on this one, Deborah Alty for sorting the buffet, Mike and Leesa Beckwith Sensei’s for helping to set up and working tirelessly all night to make sure it all went smoothly.

Thanks also to Lori-Ann Moran, Teresa Withington Sensei, Callum Miles Sensei, Julie, Mike and Leesa (again) for helping us set up the room in the afternoon. It’s the teamwork that makes the dreamwork and we appreciate all of your help!

If you have some pictures from the night, please can you send them to me either via facebook messenger or email to info@redtigerkarateclub.co.uk as I’d like to make an album on the gallery page of the website. Thank you 🙂

Any suggestions for improving the next one, speak to me (Rachael Sensei) or let us know via the email contact form.
