The RTK office will be closed from Friday 7th April to Monday 10th April. We will re-open on Tuesday 11th April at 9am. All orders placed after 7th April will be processed on the 11th and all enquiries will be be dealt with.
All other classes should be taking place as normal unless you are notified otherwise by your Class Instructor or via the Dojo Login APP.
Ramadan Mubarak
We would like to wish our Muslim members and families who are observing the holy month a ‘Blessed Ramadan’.
As Sunset occurs during some of our later evening classes, students observing Ramadan are able to request a water break in order to break their fast.
Just let your Sensei know at the beginning of the class.
Upcoming Club Events
Brown and Black Belt Course followed by 2nd Kyu, 1st Kyu and Dan Gradings
Sunday 23rd April 2023
12pm-2pm (Grading 2.15pm-4pm)
Venue:
Kearsley Academy, Springfield Road, Bolton. BL4 8HY.
Cost:
£12.00 for the Course only, £10.00 each for 2 or more in the same household.
Grading: £30.00 for Kyu Grading & Course / £70.00 for Dan Grading & Course
Pay by cash or card on the day
Places:
75 places on a first-come, first-served basis.
Instructors will put forward the names of the students who are attempting grading. You will just need to confirm your attendance with your Sensei, turn up and pay on the day.
The Course is open to all and will run from 12-2pm. The Dan grading will immediately follow and finish at approximately 4pm.
Students and Instructors will be able attempt their 2nd Kyu, 1st Kyu and Dan Gradings in front of the Dan grading panel.
Spectators and supporters are more than welcome.
Cadet Leader and Assistant Instructor Class
Date: Sunday 30th April 2023
Time: 11:00am-12:30pm
Venue: Kearsley Academy, Springfield Road, Bolton, BL4 8HY.
These classes are put on by the club free of charge for Cadet Leaders and Assistant Instructors who help in our classes.
Both Assistants and Cadets will train together in the same room at the same time but we split into two different sections.
We will work on the development of your own karate and your teaching skills.
We would like as many of our Cadets and Assistants as possible to attend this event and take advantage of this great opportunity.
April Competitions
Good luck to Kata Squad members Lola Girault and Jaime Pratley attending the British Karate Federation (BKF) Championships this weekend. We are behind you! Do your best :-)
Squad Classes
The next Kata Squad Class will be taking place on Monday 17th April and the next Kumite Squad Class will be taking place on Monday 24th April.
Class Booking System
May we give you a gentle reminder to book onto classes in good time. It helps our Sensei’s to plan out classes properly and cater to the students expected. It is difficult to formulate a class plan when students book on at the very last minute. Please try to book your classes where possible at least one to two days in advance. The APP is being updated this month and will feature our Club name and logo, your username and password will be unaffected. If you would like to be able to book for siblings and family members under one login, please email us at info@redtigerkarateclub.co.uk with the names of all family members and we will link together all the accounts.

This offer is open to all members, not just beginners. Remember, you do not have to pay for home delivery, members can collect items at classes free of charge.
Bootcamp/Kyu Gradings will be back in May
There is no BOOTCAMP this month due to Easter, the B + B Course and Cadet Class
Bootcamp will be back in May along with our next Club Kyu Grading to be held at Kearsley Academy on Sunday 14th May.
