Hi! I started training in karate in 2003 with GKR after that knock on the door. My husband signed me and my three girls up and that was it - we were off! I got hooked straight away. I trained under Sensei Sean and Tony Concannon - two really good instructors. I eventually got my black belt in September 2008. It was one of the proudest moments of my life, (I still sleep in it now!) I joined Rising Phoenix karate now Red Tiger Karate at the beginning of 2006. I have made many friends and gained confidence and fitness.

I have recently become a full-time instructor and am thoroughly enjoying it. I am lucky to be able to train with the Chief Instructor Paul Wolstencroft on a weekly basis as well as the other instructors. It's like one big happy family! I would recommend anyone - regardless of age or ability to give karate a try!
